SECRET will participate in the IEEE CAMAD 2020 with papers by ESRs 6 - Yasir Al-Yasir and 7 - Naser Ojaroudi Parchin.

The 11th SECRET Plenary Meeting took place in a remote manner on July 6th, given the travel and meeting constraints caused by the COVID pandemic. As we approach the final six months of the project, important decisions have to be taken! Thankfully all the members of the SECRET family appear to be in good health and spirit :)

SECRET participated in the CSNDSP 2020 with a special session organized by the coordinator entitled "Entering into Virtual World - Future challenges and Research Direction - 2030” and two papers presented by ESRs 1 - Marcus de Ree and 3 - Maryam. The video presentations of both technical papers will be available on our Youtube Channel.

The 10th SECRET Plenary Meeting took place on 10-11 February in Kista, Sweden, hosted by Huawei. The plenary meeting was followed by two training actions in which the ESRs have participated: one on real life experimental tools and one on stochastic models, given by Drs. David Nophut and Riccardo Bassoli, both from Technische Universität Dresden. Many thanks to HWSE for hosting us, and for the cool(est) social event :)

SECRET has contributed to the organization of the workshop "The innovation of 5G development and its growth towards 2020".

SECRET was presented in April at the 2nd MSA International Workshop on Communications & Electronics.

During the Mobile World Congress 2018, SECRET was showcased with a presentation at ACTICOM booth.

The 4th SECRET Plenary meeting took place in Aveiro, Portugal, in February at IT premises. Thanks to... well, us... for hosting it :) This was the first meeting with a complete set of Early Stage Researchers attending, either locally or by video link due to visa issues and allowed us all to get to know each other better.

SECRET participated in the EERT Workshop co-located with the ITA 2017, between 12 and 15 September in Wrexham, United Kingdom and received the Best Paper Award of the Workshop! Congrats to all!

Prof. Raed Abd-Alhameed (BRA) was co-speaker at the Research Seminars, Events and Industry Talks organised jointly by the UK - Yorkshire IET local network and the University of Bradford - 5G / IoT - Enabling Smarter Cities on 23rd February.

The SECRET Kick-Off meeting took place in Leeds, United Kingdom, in February, hosted by partner SARAS Technology Ltd and attended by our project officer, Dr. Szymon Sroda. Many thanks to Saras for hosting us.
